Tile, metal and shingle re-roofing for Greenacres homeowners, permitted through the City of Greenacres and inspected to Florida Building Code.
Florida Certified Roofing Contractor · CCC-033696
Greenacres is an inland Palm Beach County city, and most of its housing stock arrived across the 1970s through the 1990s, which means a lot of original tile roofs are reaching the same age threshold within a short window of each other.
A re-roof in Greenacres is a permitted job, reviewed and inspected by the City’s Building Division, now submitted through the MGO e-permitting system. We pull the permit under our own license, schedule the inspections, and hand you the closed permit at the end.
Greenacres sits in Palm Beach County, outside the High Velocity Hurricane Zone that governs Miami-Dade and Broward. Being inland changes the material calculus: the corrosion argument that pushes coastal homeowners toward metal carries much less weight here.
The most common roof across Greenacres’ established subdivisions, and usually the right economic answer given typical roof size.
Appropriate for some homes, though the coastal corrosion argument does not apply here the way it does closer to the water.
Correct on a substantial share of Greenacres’ housing, and we will say so rather than sell the wrong roof for the structure.
Greenacres runs its own Building Department at Melaleuca Lane. As of April 2026, applications go through the city’s MGO permitting system rather than email, and typical review runs two to four business days depending on permit type.

Repairs versus replacement. Florida changed the long-standing 25 percent rule in 2022. We check which edition of the Florida Building Code your roof was built to before quoting a repair.
Greenacres is largely single-family subdivisions built out from the 1970s through the 1990s, alongside a number of manufactured and mobile home communities, all aging on a similar timeline rather than concentrated in one or two named developments.
Not every call is a replacement. Cracked or slipped tile, failed valley metal, and flashing leaks are all repairable. We would rather fix a roof with ten good years left than sell you a new one.
We are a family-owned roofing contractor based in Boca Raton, working the corridor from Lighthouse Point north through Jupiter and west into communities like Greenacres. We do not do new construction, insurance restoration, or developer work.
